Trifecta Plus Experiment Shows Gains in Productivity

A number of people in the Trifecta Plus 5-7 Day Experiment have had breakthroughs in productivity and/or dealing with overwhelm and stress and such.

This is very exciting.

Here is what some people posted on Facebook who are in the Trifecta Plus 5-7 day experiment:

Garry Brattly:

“What a change! In just a few hours after signing up many unfinished projects in my life that seemed to be “stuck” got restarted or totally finished. Keep it coming!”

Lauren Lee Sarlya:

I noticed since I signed up for the 5-7 day experiment, that I’m able to maintain my calm center better. Even though the days have been full of activity, I’m not getting overwhelmed. I’m also feeling more loving – all good!

Alma Dame:

I love the letting go audio, went to sleep listening to it. Then this morning I was able to work from home so I could work on a project that was beginning to stress me out. Awesome!

If you haven’t signed up for the Trifecta Plus 5-7 Day Experiment, you still can. I extended it a couple of days so more people could have the opportunity to hop in. (currently over 400 people are participating)

I can’t promise you will have the same shifts as Lauren, Alma or Garry. It is a letting go and letting God experiment so rather than setting intentions for what you want a shift in, trust the shifts you have will be in your highest and best.

Making Peace with Money – Video

We are caught up in money madness stories that have us think that when we attain some magic money number, then everything will be okay . . . then we can be at peace . . . then we can relax.

I highly recommend watching this video by Spencer Sherman from Abacus Wealth.

Let me know what you think. What are your money madness stories. Is it time to let them go?

The Spiritual Evolution of Solo-preneurs

The two biggest things that get in the way of both the inner peace and the growth of an entrepreneur are fear and self-doubt.

Now there are many ways to deal with fear and self-doubt and generally I use energetic tools such as those in my Life Transformation Tools program to help me and my clients get out of our own way.

Today I want to talk about this on other levels as well.  It is no secret that there is a shift happening on our planet now — a change in consciousness. It is time to raise our vibration. But if we are in fear of moving forward with our business or doubting ourselves and our expertise, then we are holding our vibration down and there is resistance.

I know it is hard to trust when often times it feels like chaos is all around us. Yet if we do not trust ourselves, our intuition, our brilliance and the Universe, then we go nowhere.

So what if you looked at your business as a playground for your spiritual evolution?faith

Actually I have come to believe that it is. Everything that we create in our lives is an opportunity for us to learn and move forward on our spiritual journeys — and being peaceful is part of our spiritual journey.  (I am not referring to religion here, but a more global spirituality that is common for all of us regardless of individual religious beliefs).

So if you try something new in your business and it takes off like a rocket, you learn how to deal with it both from a business systems perspective as well as from whatever spiritual lessons you needed to learn (perhaps how others relate to you and you relate to others’ from this place).

If you send out a new promotion and there is little or no response, you learn things both from a spiritual  and a marketing viewpoint. That’s not to say you won’t be disappointed or perhaps obsess a bit about what you did wrong (ugh!).

But if that disappointment is disproportionately strong or you can’t let go, then it is a sign there are old patterns and memories to release and this thing that we called “failure” is actually perfect because it triggered something we needed to release for our spiritual evolution that will bring us to a place of peace. I experienced this firsthand recently.

Sometimes we don’t know what the lesson is or what there is to do. That is the time to get quiet … to be curious and allow the answers to show themselves or to get support from a spiritual business coach or healer in letting go of whatever is in our way.

As we move forward let’s  look for the gem in each situation that allows us to evolve spiritually. I know sometimes,  it can be difficult and we may want to scream and that’s okay too. But as we evolve,  I believe our businesses will  grow in new ways or get re-designed –such that they fit like a glove for our new way of being.  And from this place ,  I can only think that  “success” will be a given.

I welcome your comments.

———————————-
On the surface of our world right now
There is war, violence, and craziness
And things may seem dark.

But calmly and quietly
At the same time
Something is happening underground.

An inner revolution is taking place
And certain individuals
Are being called to a higher light.

It is a silent revolution
From the inside out
From the ground up.

This is a global co-operation
That has sleeper cells in every nation.
It is a planetary Spiritual Conspiracy.

You won’t likely see us on T.V.
You won’t read about us in the newspaper.
You won’t hear from us on the radio.

We don’t seek glory.
We don’t wear any uniform.
We come in all shapes and sizes, colors and styles.

We are in every country and culture of the world
In cities big and small, mountains and valleys
In farms and villages, tribes and remote islands.

Most of us work anonymously
Seeking not recognition of name
But profound transformation of life.

Working quietly behind the scenes
You could pass by one of us on the street
And not even notice.

We go undercover
Not concerned for who takes the final credit
But simply that the work gets done.

Many of us may seem to have normal jobs.
But behind the external storefront
Is where the deeper work takes a place.

With the individual and collective power
Of our minds and hearts
We spread passion, knowledge, and joy to all.

Some call us the Conscious Army
As together
We co-create a new world.

Our orders come from the Spiritual Intelligence Agency
Instructing us to drop soft, secret love bombs
when no one is looking.

Poems ~ Hugs ~ Music ~ Photography ~ Smiles ~ Kind words
Movies ~ Meditation and prayer ~ Dance ~ Websites
Social activism ~ Blogs ~ Random acts of kindness…

We each express ourselves
In our own unique ways
With our own unique gifts and talents.

“Be the change you want to see in the world”
That is the motto that fills our hearts.
We know this is the path to profound transformation.

We know that quietly and humbly
Individually and collectively
We have the power of all the oceans combined.

At first glance our work is not even visible.
It is slow and meticulous
Like the formation of mountains.

And yet with our combined efforts
Entire tectonic plates
Are being shaped and moved for centuries to come.

Love is the religion we come to share
And you don’t need to be highly educated
Or have exceptional knowledge to understand it.

Love arises from the intelligence of the heart
Embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse
Of all living beings.

Be the change you want to see in the world.
Nobody else can do it for you.
Yet don’t forget, we are all here supporting you.

We are now recruiting.
Perhaps you will join us
Or already have.

For in this spiritual conspiracy
All are welcome, and all are loved.
The door is always open.

Peaceful Entrepreneur Survey Results Part I

I loved hearing what you had to say in The Peaceful Entrepreneur(TM) survey and found your feedback to be extremely interesting. There were 294 respondents. I divided the responses by current Entrepreneurs (230) and those who Wannabe (64)

One of the more interesting things to me was that people who had already taken the plunge and started their own business sleep better and believe it is possible to be both peaceful and successful than those who are sitting on the fence about whether to start their own business.

Actually it makes sense, because fence sitting is a very painful place to be. It is a place of inner conflict and turmoil and the longer you sit there, the more painful it can get. (I certainly have been there on many occasions).

So those of you have been considering starting your own business, take note.

Here is the data:

Do you believe that you can operate from a place of peace and stillness and be successful monetarily?

Entrepreneurs:

Absolutely 63.%

Conceptually, I get it but living it is questionable 34%

Wannabes

Absolutely 47%

Conceptually, I get it but living it is questionable 42%

The remainder were not sure and a very few said “no.”

I asked what gets in way of being peaceful and this was another fascinating response. The biggest thing in the way of peace for entrepreneurs is worrying about where the business will come from and then the 2nd thing in the way is procrastinating things that will bring in the biz. Ding Ding Ding. Who says we are not our worst enemies? And then the 3rd thing that gets in the way is overwhelm – just too many darn things that we can be doing and think we need to be doing.

There were many other high ranking items, but I am not going to overwhelm you with too much data at once 🙂 This seems like a pretty important place to start.

Data:

What if anything, keeps you from being a peaceful entrepreneur most of the time? Check those which seem to have the biggest impact on you:

Entrepreneurs (top 3 responses)

1. Worried about where biz will come from 53%

2. Procrastinating things that will bring in the biz 51%

3. Overwhelm 41%

This question was equally as interesting for wannabes.

The top 3 things that keep those who are considering starting a business from being peaceful are 1st: fear of trying and failing, 2nd: worried about where the business will come from and 3rd: lack of a plan.

So all of you who have been thinking about starting a business listen up; you can lie in bed and worry about what if you fail and where will the business come from or you can put together a plan. Is a plan foolproof? No, that is why I work with my peaceful entrepreneur platinum clients to but together a flexible plan, one that is in alignment with their big yes. Is it still possible to make mistakes? You bet, I’ve made lots. But rarely is a mistake critical to the future of a business. Rather it can be the turnaround point for doing something really great.

Take one minute to watch this video where Mary Brady shares the results achieved during her Peaceful Entrepreneur retreat day with me. You can see the 60 second video here.

For those of you who like to see the numbers, here they are:

What if anything, keeps you from being a peaceful entrepreneur most of the time? Check those which seem to have the biggest impact on you:

Wannabe’s (top 3 responses)

1. Fear of trying and failing 46%

2. Worried about where biz will come from 44%

3. Lack of a plan 41%

Again, there is lots more information from this survey. But I thought I would give you a few pieces to chew on. In future issues, I will be sharing more results as well as tips and support for moving past these top 3 issues and many more so you can make the impact you were meant to make in the world.

BTW, the reason I am so passionate about people becoming peaceful entrepreneurs is out of my own experience of stressing myself out unnecessarily over the years.

Am I peaceful 100% of the time? No absolutely not. I am not some guru living on a mountaintop. I am just another person like you who is learning to do things in a way that is more in alignment with my soul, one moment at a time.

How popular tweeps stay peaceful while growing their biz

I asked 4 popular tweeps and successful business people these questions.

Do you believe that maintaining a sense of inner peace is important in growing your business? If so, why is this important to you?

What is one key thing you do that helps you to maintain a sense of peace while growing your business to new heights?

The variety of answers is interesting. They are all good ideas  to consider when looking at how to become more peaceful as you grow your own business to new heights – a nice combination of going inside to get quiet and taking practical steps to stay on track. Of course I added my answer below as well. Let us know what you think and what helps you be a more peaceful entrepreneur.

And be sure to follow these tweeps on twitter to stay up with the latest news from them.

Stacey Mayo,  The Dream Queen

“Inner peace is now a part of how I define success. If I am making lots of money but am stressed out trying to keep up with it all, that is not success. It is much more fun to be peaceful and joyful while making a difference and making a good living. I choose to lead from stillness more and more.

What that means is that I get quiet and listen to what wants to be born. The One Minute Meditation is one of the tools I use to get quiet. I do not act out of impulse – at least not as much – but rather out of what resonates with me and fits with my bigger mission.  It is about taking inspired action from a place of alignment, not from a place of urgency. Rather than hurry and do something, (like we’ve all been taught, to work hard and fast), the action comes after the stillness. This is how The Peaceful Entrepreneur concept was born. If the idea that wants to be born is a big idea and outside my comfort zone, then I take the time to clear the thoughts and beliefs that cause resistance so when I act, I truly am in alignment with it and the results are more likely to manifest quickly and ea

Denise J. Hart, The Motivation Mama!

“Inner peace is absolutely important to growing a business. In fact, inner peace is essential for success in life. It’s when you become still that you are able to hear and receive with the greatest clarity. As a small business owner so many challenges can come your way and it’s through tapping into your inner peace reserve that you are able to maintain in tough situations.  Inner peace keeps a smile on your face and in your heart.

I meditate for 15 minutes every day.  Meditation helps to strengthen my internal focus and my ability to listen to my intuition. It also helps me to stay relaxed and at peace.”

Jan Masters of Everyday Joy

“I do believe that maintaining peace–and joy–in developing my business is very essential. In fact it’s a kind of ‘burn the candle at both ends’ thing for me. Creating, writing, coaching out of a peaceful place communicates a peaceful, grounded vibration to my readers, clients, students. On the other hand, my work is my path, and so when I am not so peaceful and life is squeezing me, finding my way back can often take the form of writing, coaching, teaching, and hearing the message, feeling the vibration, allowing the shift to happen within me,  within that context. It’s a circular thing for me since my humanity is my greatest asset in my work.

The key thing I do to maintain my peace in growing my business is that I keep up with my message. What I mean by that is that I am an evolving being, with new challenges and new joys every day, and new tools and strategies for dealing with them, and new understanding and integration and transformation happening all the time. I have always been one who experiences, looks for powerful energy shifting tools and processes, tries them out, and then takes the ones that are the most beautifully transformative and brings them to my market. This has kept me energized and enthusiastic and passionate, and has kept my market on the lookout knowing that they will be getting exciting new offerings from me. Everybody’s happy!”

Pam Slim, author of Escape from Cubicle Nation

“Maintaining a sense of peace while growing a business is critical because success to me means enjoying my work while I am doing it, not just evaluating the results.  If I don’t make sure I am happy and at peace, I lose my perspective, my body rebels and I become a cranky person.

This year is all about working with partners to make sure that I focus on the things I enjoy and do well.  I started a new program with three partners which has been wonderful.  I hired a virtual assistant to take lots of details off my plate, which feels amazing.”

Josh Hinds from Get Motivation

“Yes, I find it very important to be able to retreat during those times during the day when things are particularly hectic. In the course of any given day I have a large number of tasks related to larger projects which require my time, but also I have the responsibility of ensuring the smaller, some might say more mundane things are completed as well. Even in cases where these tasks have been delegated I still have to follow up and make sure they’re completed correctly and in the decided upon time. This is certainly not something that’s exclusive to my professional life, virtually everyone who might be reading this can relate to some degree….

One of the things that helps me quite a bit is to keep lists, even simple lists of the particular days most important tasks can help me stay focused & working on what’s truly most important — that is those things that I’ve determined before hand is most likely to yield the best results for me. This keeps me grounded on what I need to be focusing on, rather than running the risk of simply moving on to whatever “immediate emergency” might pop up in the moment.

Another thing I do is to take breaks (if you can schedule them all the better). There will be times where you will be so involved in a project where you just won’t want to step away from it. In some cases this is fine, but all in all I find that when I feel resistance to doing something I know I need to do, that is precisely when I would be served much better if I were willing to step away for a short period of time, or perhaps read a book or do something entirely different. Even something as seemingly simple as taking some deep breaths. Notice what I’m suggesting is far from procrastinating or putting off doing what needs to be done. Rather, I go into it telling myself that in doing so I’m recharging my internal battery a bit. Creating the necessary relaxation & balance we all need.”
