The Most Extraordinary People Don't Fit In

contortion business manager in box ready to travelYou were not meant to be in a box and fit in.

You were meant to be uniquely you

And to make a splash in the big pond of life.

So splash away,

Be messy.

Allow it to cause ripples and waves —

We need more waves;

Different waves.

Waves from the heart,

Waves of  creativity,

Waves of love.

Allow it to pour forth from your soul.

And when you do

You will radiate your light into the world

And the world will be a better place as a result.

  1. Hi Stacey –

I wanted to share with you what your poem “not meant to fit in” did for a friend of mine. After reading it, she started drawing again, and has decided it is time for her to just be who she is and not try to change for anyone (co-workers), to start living her life and not wait until she retires to do what she wants to do.

I’m happy for her and glad I was able to share it with her to create the return of her more authentic self.

    Thanks,
    Diane
